| HOWARD COSELL is producing a 30-minute sports series that will feature "investigative reports and profiles of the famous and not-so-famous athletes creating news." Naturally, Cosell will act as commentator. Scheduled to begin on Aug. 16, this is Cosell's third magazine-style sports series with ABC. Says he, "There's been some insidious, false talk in the press lately about other networks’ surpassing ABC in sports coverage. ABC did it first in sports journalism, and we're continuing to do so." |
