It is deliberately barebones at this early stage in order to focus efforts more on data collection.
While the lists of scanned issues online is strong, the rest will be a long haul effort.
In the future, it will be more of a robust searchable database. Consider this a rough draft!

Notes on the Archive
- Some issues will cross over years or even decades (for example, the issue that starts on Dec 30 1989 and ends Jan 05 1990). If you are looking for dates in early January, you may need to move ahead to the next section.
- There were TV Guides before 1953, however this year is when it switched to the familiar national format. There are scans online of the earlier issues that I intend to add when I have time to organize those. Similarly, because of the format changes in the 2000s, the 2010s and 2020s need a bit more time to get formatted.
- This archive is not official and is not affiliated with TV Guide.
Notes on TV Guide
- Issue #2741 (Vol 53 No 40, Oct 09 - Oct 16 2005) was the last TV Guide printed in the traditional small size, and regional TV Guides were dropped, standardizing them to a single national edition.
- Starting with Issue #2909 (Vol 57 No 52, Jan 05 - Jan 18 2009), printing went from weekly editions to biweekly. Because of things like this, you will occasionally see issues that will cover an additional day or see issue numbers briefly fall out of pattern.
- If you are looking for fairly recent TV Guide issues, be sure to check your local library. You can often find scans of some recent issues through your local library, either in person or through apps like Libby or Hoopla.
